Harvest For Hunger

Our community was proud of hosting the first Canadian World Record Threshing event in 2013. The Old Tyme Harvest for Hunger brought together an estimated 6500 families, friends, community members, and industry representatives to celebrate our past, present and the future of agriculture. All while supporting a noble cause raising funds for the Canadian Food Grains Bank! In addition to assisting poverty stricken countries, this event contributes towards community development, re-introduces past methods of farming, and celebrates the current advancement in farming; while having some fun along the way!

With the strong support of the agriculture community, this event raised over $142,000 for the Canadian Food Grains Bank and inspired future world record breaking events raising awareness for great causes.
