Langenburg Central School

Built-in 2016, Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12 Langenburg Central School is envisioned as being a new "heart” for the community.

Designed with an innovative approach, the two-story, 4,685 m2 school features a double-height central atrium circulation area and open concept learning spaces allowing for ample natural light.

There are 17 classrooms, a flex-classroom/art, an IA/PAA shop, a home Ec./PAA classroom, a large gymnasium, a small gym/theatre space, a stage, and a fitness classroom/community fitness centre. It also has an open-concept library and multiple commons areas (main, senior, junior, and elementary). The school grounds feature two playground structures, and a shale running track.

Pre-Kindergarten provides a quality education program to nurture the socio-emotional, intellectual, and physical development of children with the highest needs. The program focuses on nurturing self-esteem, school readiness, and speech and language development. A limited number of spaces are available for three- and four-year-old children.

Langenburg Central School is part of the Good Spirit School Division.
